The same holds true when it comes to home ownership and it usually does involve some types of sacrifices. In order to own the house of your dreams, you'll need to have a down payment set aside and this is where most of the sacrificing will come into play.

When you completely understand that it will take some focus and determination to put this down payment together, it's a lot easier to put in the action steps to make it happen. For example, dining out twice a week won't get you to your goal as quickly as only going out for supper once a week or eliminating the dining out schedule completely on a temporary basis.
