Take pictures during the day so you do not have to rely on turning the lights on or using your flash. Natural lighting is going to give the most accurate representation of the home in the pictures. Just wait for a nice sunny day and start snapping some pictures. You are guaranteed to get good and realistic ones that way.

You need to try to make the home look spacious (without lying of course). But, you do not want the pictures to make the home looked cramped. People want to see a lot of open space. They want to know there is plenty of room for them to move all of their things into the house.

Clean up the home and do not be afraid to edit minor things in the picture. You want good pictures, you just want to make sure you are editing and cleaning for the sake of quality pictures. You do not want to change the colours of the wall, for example.
