Fans of the Point in Patterson Heights will be happy to know that new lots have been released in this upscale community with picture-perfect views and open space.
Phase 3 lots are now up for grabs from QuinnCorp. Communities, the developer that brought you Aspen Estates and Aspen Summit, two other affluent neighbourhoods on the city’s west side. Patterson is an older, established community high above the city.
Plenty of Green Space
The coveted green space loved so much by area residents include natural areas such as ravines and a picturesque escarpment. Residents enjoy unobstructed views of the city skyline to the east and the Bow River Valley to the north. The Point in Patterson Heights is surrounded by preserved urban parkland and is an oasis for residents up on the hill who love to walk, bike and in the winter, cross-country ski. There are paved trails as well and playgrounds.
The developer has taken great care to preserve the natural aspect of the hillside. The lots are clustered together to work with the natural contours of the hill. Ravines and tree stands for the most part will be preserved, left untouched and protected for generations.
Of the community itself, 30% of the land will be developed and 70% left in its natural state. The enormous escarpment upon which Patterson sits is a Calgary landmark and deserves to be left as natural as possible.
This new opportunity just launched to the public includes eight hillside lots and six lots suitable for walkout homes. Each of these new lots back onto woodlands or green space, and four of them side onto a wooded ravine.
These newly available offerings are in the third and final phase. There are still lots remaining in Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Point in Patterson Heights.
The vision for the architectural style of this neighbourhood belongs to Jenkins Architecture. The firm developed two versions of Prairie Style; traditional and modern. The horizontal rooflines blend in with the landscape. Materials used to create the Modern Prairie style are natural or natural looking.
Lots can be purchased from the developer. The buyer can then connect with the builder that is the best fit for them, and for the community.
Lots in The Point in Patterson Heights start at $550,000 up to $750,000.
