The community of Shawnessy, in South Calgary, is an affordable family neighbourhood that is named after the historic Shaw family, the original area pioneers. This neighbourhood is west of Macleod Trail and runs west to James McKevitt Blvd SW with Shawnessy Blvd SW on the north and 162 Ave SW on the south end of the property.
